Study and Work Opportunities in Malta:

International students have a work permit of 20 hours weekly during their studies. This opportunity however may only be availed by applying for an employment licence. To be issued a work permit licence, international students must fulfil the following conditions:

Students seeking employment licences must be enrolled in a course which is longer than 90 days.
International students are barred from working during the first 90 days of their stay in Malta.
An employment/job letter from an employer must be submitted while applying for the work licence
Students are to work only for up to 20 hours in a week.
